Transport orders
Assignment of transport companies and message exchange.
As a Scope user, you can place transport orders for air, ocean, and land freight shipments within shipment creation without external portals or directories. If you have installed the optional interface, you can electronically exchange all necessary data and information with the carriers stored in Scope directly, without the detour via e-mail traffic. When using the supplementary QR code procedure, data on loading and unloading is transmitted directly to Scope.
Pickup and delivery of air and sea freight.
When commissioning the carrier, you can specify the day, time and place, as well as precisely specify the type, number and weight of the order. For air freight, you can specify the terminal for delivery or pickup. In addition to general cargo orders for pre-carriage and on-carriage, you can also initiate FCL orders via the interface.
Adding documents.
You can add accompanying documents such as dangerous goods declarations and delivery bills from the document archive in Scope or by upload.
Direct message exchange via interface.
The optional interface allows you to transmit instructions directly with the order and exchange event messages with the contracted carrier electronically. This way, you avoid time-consuming communication via e-mail or telephone and can receive and log milestones in a traceable manner.
Updates via interface.
By configuring the interface accordingly, you can determine whether updates are to be sent. A warning function alerts you if the recipient cannot process updates.
Simply transmit data via QR code.
Instead of using an interface, drivers can scan a QR code in the transport order with their smartphone or tablet and confirm loading and unloading with one click. Alternatively, employees of the freight forwarder can also scan the code during pickup and delivery and trigger the confirmation – with the exact date and time. This data automatically updates the milestone planning and shipment status in the shipment monitor. This simple procedure enables other process participants to initiate further steps immediately.
