FedEx Shipment Booking Integration
The FedEx Shipment Booking Integration in Scope is an additional paid feature that can be enabled for a setup fee. A FedEx account is required. You can find a how-to article here:

Air
Order Tracking enhancements
Order tracking enhanced with an option to make airfreight flight legs mirroring operational actual flights rather than planned booked flights. When active on an order tracking template, it is applicable to milestones defined inside airfreight leg groups.
New group leg milestones might arise or disappear, depending how the airlines decides to operate the shipment. When unchecked, flight leg milestones are generated based on the planned booked flights. This feature might be useful for situations where departure/arrival milestones on the operational flight level are used to trigger an event outbound interface.
Order Tracking allows to automatically create tasks
The intention of this feature is to allow milestones to be milestones in their original meaning, while tasks (often required to achieve a milestone) are labeled and treated as pieces of work to perform.
After introducing basic task management, task labels and task templates it is now possible to create one or multiple tasks from order tracking milestones. Task templates can be assigned to finely granulate work.

Completion of a milestone/exception automatically completes all related tasks.

Completion of all related tasks intentionally does not automatically complete the milestone or exception

Deactivating of a milestone deactivates/deletes all related tasks (vice versa for activation)

Improvements in Manifest filing
ICS2 Support Added for Tradetech transmission, including direct ICS2 filing from export.
Customs Status available within Scope
- Latest customs status is indicated on the shipments general tab
- incoming status information is available as scope events
- dedicated events tab has been introduces inside the filing dialog
- Scope Inbox Notification will be created for shipment clerk and creator of the manifest filing on a filing rejection.
Finance
Tax calculation in quotations
The quotation module now includes a tax calculation feature. This feature is available upon request, as it may require modifications to customer-specific quotation forms to display the calculated taxes. To enable this functionality, please contact Customer Service.
Tax calculation for quotations follows the same logic as for shipments and invoices:

Taxability Assessment: The system evaluates the quote's taxability based on the departure and arrival countries.

Tax Determination: Using the taxability along with the prospect and charge types, applicable taxes are calculated for each quotation line.

A total tax amount is computed for each option within the quotation

All tax-related data are available within the quotation form.

The total tax amount can be included in the quotation spreadsheet export.
