Riege Software Mexico sponsors 4th Foro de AMACARGA

The future of logistics in Mexico discussed during conference

Querétaro, Mexico - During the Celebration of the 36th AMACARGA Anniversary, Riege Software Mexico had the opportunity to sponsor the 4to Foro de AMACARGA (4th AMACARGA Forum) on May 12th and 13th in the Fiesta Americana Viaducto Aeropuerto Hotel. The Riege Team in Mexico was also invited to participate in a panel discussion about the importance of automation and digitalization processes in the logistics industry.

Riege Software Mexico first got in contact with AMACARGA at the Logistics World SUMMIT & Expo in November 2021. After that, the association entered into a partnership with Riege Software and enabled the Mexican team to get in contact with several companies from the freight forwarding industry. Carlos Madrid, Sales Representative at Riege Software Mexico, was invited to join the panel discussion on the importance of automation and digitalization processes in the logistics industry.

The conference itself was called “Future logistics: Digital economy and cybersecurity”. It revealed some important aspects:

  • how event automation and connection with external platforms will help you to save time and money
  • the importance of data protection and SaaS cloud services to protect the data generated in your logistics operations
  • how having fiscal processes integrated within a TMS can help you avoid losing money

In addition, the former president of AMACARGA, Roberto J. Ramos Casas, warmly welcomed Juan Pablo and his team as the new leading board of the association for the 2022-2024 period. As mentioned in previous publications, having a good global supply chain management implies having a good network with global transportation partners. Innovation and information exchange are key to the technological transition of the logistics industry in Mexico.

About AMACARGA

AMACARGA is one of the most important Mexican associations in the freight forwarding industry. The Asociación Mexicana de Agentes de Carga A.C. (Mexican Freight Forwarders Association) was established as a formal organization back in 1986 in Mexico City, with 17 companies associated. Ever since, the organization has grown steadily, currently there are over 340 affiliated companies in the freight forwarding, customs and transportation sectors.
