Impressions from Expo Logística-Transporte 2022

Networking is crucial for the logistics industry. It brings companies and stakeholders together, fosters dialogue and creates space for new ideas and solutions to existing challenges in the transport sector. Riege Software participated in the second edition of Expo Logística-Transporte, the leading event for the logistics sector in Mexico's Bajío region, from February 9 to 11, 2022, as one of the few SaaS companies. Some insights we gained at the fair:

Creating synergies

There were 37 exhibitors at the show this year, including many freight forwarders, a few software providers, road transportation companies and media exhibitors. The key exhibitors and visitors included French-Mexican Chamber of Foreign Trade, Todo Logistica & Comercio Exterior Magazine and the Mexico Industry Magazine.

Mauricio Cárdenas Palacios, representative of the Queretaro State Government, opened the event and, in his opening speech, congratulated the organizing committee for bringing together freight companies, land carriers and air freight forwarders.

The annual international trade fair offers more than just an opportunity to showcase the own product or service. With conferences and workshops on offer, it is the ideal place in Mexico's Bajío region to create synergies and forge strategic alliances.

Visitors from all over the Bajío

Around 3,000 visitors from the logistics sector attended the trade fair, mostly international logistics experts. The main objective of the event is to promote the development of the logistics and transportation industry in Mexico. The fair is a very important event for the Mexican transportation industry due to the increasing demand for cargo transportation in the airports of Querétaro and Silao, as well as the inner port of Guanajuato, which is considered the most dynamic and recognized dry port in Mexico and Latin America.

Querétaro has seen significant growth in the transportation, shipping and warehousing industries in recent years. The export industry generated a total of 10,701 million USD in 2021, an increase of 30.8% compared to 2020.

Riege Software at the Expo

For Riege Software, the Expo was an essential event to establish contacts, create brand awareness and present Scope, the Digital Standard for digital logistics. Many interested parties had the opportunity to meet the Mexican Riege team and take a closer look at Scope's top features. Our innovative booth, Scope as an integrated software solution and the hardworking Mexican team who shared all their experience and knowledge about Scope with the visitors, convinced not only the industry experts.
