Release Report Scope 22.6
Air Freight
Transfer of packaging material with standardized dimensions into a shipment
The dimensions of crates, containers, and boxes with standardized dimensions can now be stored under Master data → Freight forwarding → Packaging material. This way, these packaging materials are automatically entered in the package editor of the shipment.
Ocean Freight
Status codes in Dakosy IMP extended
In the Dakosy Partner Profile it is now possible to define in the status codes of an IMP order which persons should be notified by email.
This setting remains valid for each new order.
New function “Shippers Owned Container” in transport orders
The editor for container pickup and delivery orders has been extended by the field “Shippers owned”. The entry keyed in the pickup orders is also displayed in the delivery orders. If “Shippers owned” is not set, the container numbers in the pickup orders are validated and displayed as an error if the container number is invalid.
Support for new event types in Portbase Cargo Controller
Scope supports various new event types received as part of webhook events. The following new event types can be processed:
- IMPORT_DECLARATION_SUBMITTED - import declaration for a specific container
- DISCHARGED - Unloading of a container at the terminal
- RELEASED, BLOCK, SCAN, PHYSICAL_OUTLET PHYSICAL_CUSTOMS_WAREHOUSE - Customs specific event types
Each event of a type is created only once per container or if the container cannot be determined, per shipment.
Global sailing list now with the closing
In the search for matching sailing lists, there are two new optional columns that show the loading closing times for FCL and LCL – if this information is available.
EDI booking supports container assignment
When creating or updating a booking, the transmitted container information is transferred to the booking. After the container ISO codes have been transmitted, Scope searches for a suitable container type in the master data and assigns it to the booking. If no suitable ISO codes are found, the code provided in the interface can be translated with a suitable EDI mapping.
Freight Forwarding
Data imports despite missing mappings in EDI profile
In Scope, codes of incoming messages can be translated using EDI profiles. If no mappings are lodged for certain codes, the missing mappings are recorded in the EDI profile and displayed in the EDI profile editor. Here the missing mappings can easily be added. In case of missing address mappings, the corresponding mapping can also be created in the shipment.
If a missing mapping is detected during data import, Scope writes a note to the shipment to inform users. If the email address of the contact is stored in the EDI profile, an email is generated in case of missing mappings, which promptly informs the responsible person about the problem.
Finance
Shipment mapping in accounts payable
In imported accounts payable (AP), consignments can now also be matched on the basis of the container number. This functionality must be enabled – if needed – in existing AP templates. However, Scope requires a unique identifier to automatically assign an AP line to a shipment. If the mapping fails, Scope will display the references used and a reason for the failure.
DGR report enhancement
Additional columns are now available for creating a DGR report in the shipment summary:
- Number of packages (UN number)
- Additional dangerous goods
- Correct technical name
- Technical description
- CargoIMP code
- Packing group
- Quantities
- State of aggregation
- Packaging type
- UN Rec. 21 Code
In addition, it is now possible to create a distinct layout for the DGR report with the shipment data.
Customs Germany
Depository statistics in SumA with goods values
The statistics in ATLAS now also map the SumA declaration. SumA statistics can now be created via the item and completion list. If the completion was made via a procedure that includes customs duties and customs values, these details are also shown in the statistics. The export to Excel can be customized using the layout function.
Data import from Excel in export positions with qualifications
If the type of document is specified in the CSV import from Excel together with the qualification, Scope adopts this as the type and qualifier separated by a slash (“/”). 3LNA/81 thus becomes a document with type 3LNA and qualification 81. If necessary, Scope can also transfer several documents for the supplied article number to the export item using the article master.
