Scope 12.8 - More possibilities, less effort

Transport, export, import made even easier.

The top functions in Scope 12.8 show how communicative Scope is. Whether data is exchanged via interfaces, CSV and XML files or between the customs systems of two countries, Scope creates more transparency, more data integrity, more reliability and more options for the user to reduce manual intervention.

Interface to CargoSteps for transport orders

An important component has been added to the tracking function in Scope by integrating CargoSteps. All steps and statuses of the first and last mile are fully traceable in Scope as well as in the Scope Connect web application.

Once a transport order has been issued and accepted by the driver, all relevant data between collection and delivery is automatically and continuously sent by CargoSteps via a mobile app and is immediately visible in Scope through the interface. When using Scope Connect, all status updates up to the Proof of Delivery (PoD) are available to all parties involved in real time.

The data can then be used to generate KPI reports that can be applied to evaluate performance and, if necessary, to work on improvement concepts.

More displays in the Transport Order Dispo

In the Transport Order Dispo there is an improved overview with more display fields and filter options. In addition, parameters can be activated to display not only transport orders of your own branch office but also those of other branches. Furthermore, truck shipments from Shipments Light are also displayed.

Container Unloading list as Excel worksheet

In the shipment entry for sea freight import, an Unloading List for each container and bulk can now be exported to Excel and forwarded to the recipient or receiving warehouse. When using the Purchase Order Module (POMS), the article details and packing slips stored there are also included. Layouts with type "Container Unloading instructions" can be defined for the output file.

Bookings without specifying the mode of transport for all shipment types

Bookings without specifying the mode of transport can now be created and retrieved for all shipment types and transport orders, so that now e.g. preliminary bookings can be created in the import modules as well.

The booking creation in Scope Connect has also been extended accordingly. The customer enters the booking, the forwarder decides which modality to assign this booking to.

Standard Document Archive Interface

Due to the large number of interface requirements for document transfer to various document archives, a universal standard XML interface for document archives was developed. Now, when certain documents are printed an XML file is automatically transferred to the corresponding document archive. In addition to the PDF, the file also contains meta data such as time stamps, references, document type and creator.
