Riege Software presents new product features at Inside Scope

Logisticians meet for customer event in Düsseldorf

Meerbusch/Düsseldorf – Earlier this month, Riege Software hosted a customer event at the Van der Valk Airporthotel in Düsseldorf. During the two-day event, the latest product features of the Scope logistics software were presented to the invited guests. These included a QR code procedure for simplified transmission of loading information for truck transports, innovations in German and Dutch customs, and the new container management in Scope, with a focus on container-centric workflows and for more transparency in clearance.

What's new in Scope? Riege Software explored this question early in June at the Inside Scope customer event in Düsseldorf and provided several answers. Around 70 guests, most of whom were freight forwarders and representatives of the air and sea freight industry, met for the first time in two years in the beautiful ambience of the Van der Valk Airporthotel for a two-day event. The topics and innovations around the transport and logistics software Scope presented during the event not only met the current requirements of the logistics industry, they also generated enthusiasm among the visitors. Tobias Riege, CEO of Riege Software, stated after the event: “It was great to see many of our customers again after such a long time. The atmosphere both the night before and at the main event was cheerful, and the response to the new features was overwhelmingly positive. The QR code-based entry on the first and last mile and the CO₂ calculator in particular aroused the interest of several customers. Both functions represent important milestones in digitization in logistics and will certainly contribute to sustainable processes in the long term. Digitality and sustainability were clearly the main focus at Inside Scope. These are important topics that Riege is tackling, not only in this year.”

After a warm welcome by Tobias Riege, the internal experts from air and sea freight as well as finance and customs presented the following topics:

  • QR code procedure for first and last mile
  • Container management in Scope
  • Current status of customs
  • E-invoice import
  • Data exchange with the Scope standard

A special highlight of the event was the presentation of an emissions' calculator from CarbonCare, which will soon be integrated into Scope and made available to customers. Christian Riege, SVP Software Development at Riege Software, also gave a preview of the new Scope in the cloud. The invited guests were more than delighted by the selection of topics and the family-like atmosphere.
