Hello

  Nederland

Q: How many QAs do you execute for Scope? A: More than 20,000 per Release!

Quality Assurance and Quality Control merge into Quality Characteristics.

One of our top priorities is such a big issue for us that we write it in capital letters: QA – Quality Assurance. With each enhancement and change in Scope we execute some 20,000 (or to be exact: 20,392) automated test runs and these increase with every new release. This is not some casual process, at Riege it’s a rule.

But if that’s not enough; our specialized support staff for Air, Ocean, Handling and Customs conduct an impressive number of manually operated tests. Based on various and diverse scenarios, each new Scope release is tested with physical data entry to ensure smooth sequence of operations. (QC – Quality Control). At the same time, this procedure checks the execution of required or intended changes and enhancements within Scope.

And that’s still not everything. Before a new version goes live, it is installed on each customer’s individual test system, so the customer may check it for themselves that operation is faultless. This step safeguards against unexpected and undesired problems occurring during daily operations.

Yet long before any of these activities get underway, a set of mandatory steps need to occur. For each and every change or enhancement a ticket will be opened and will not be closed until the entire QA / QC procedure is completed. The full details of the testing process will be logged in this ticket. This preserves a history of all test results for all Scope releases.

The bottom line is that, all innovations will be recorded in the changelog and documented in the official Scope manual. New top features are comprehensively described with in-depth explanations. Video tutorials demonstrate their practical usage. Training and workshops can be be conducted on request to ensure complete understanding of these innovations and their implications for administration.

Our insistence on these intensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs, combines to deliver an exceptional product that differentiates Scope from other systems and makes it even smarter.
