Hosting Services
We provide a central server located at our offices in Meerbusch, Germany. The PCs and terminals of the individual Procars users connect to this central server via an IP wide-area network and all data processing takes place in our dedicated data processing centre. Only the users' screen display data and keyboard input are transmitted across the network. As a result, comparatively low and inexpensive network bandwidth is necessary. This concept allows the inexpensive connection (even world-wide) of multiple branch offices and eliminates the need for Procars system know-how at branch office level.
Last, but not least, the central server presents an ideal platform and migration path for future RDBMS based Procars modules.
