Riege Software implements TRAXON AWB Status Tracking
Riege Software International GmbH has implemented a new feature in its Procars application software: the possibility to use the TRAXON AWB Status Tracking (AST). TRAXON Europe offers this new service since the end of May of this year. The Tracking and Tracing of freight is further improved by this service.
Immediately after a special registration with TRAXON and the taking into operation of the corresponding Procars programmes Riege Software customers can use of the new feature. This new service of TRAXON Europe provides for the automated receipt of Status Updates (FSU) from the carrier. So far, these Status Updates had to be requested manually from the carrier with a Status Request Messages (FSR). One advantage of this new variant is that the forwarding agent only has to pay for the Status Updates in which he is interested. Furthermore, this process has become a fully automated process for the forwarding agent as well as for the carrier. Opposed to this the outdated use of the Status Requests (FSR) needs manual interference by the forwarding agent and is more expensive since every individual Status Request must be paid for even if the status remained unchanged.
With the additional function of the AWB Status Tracking the forwarding agent increases the quality of his internal Tracking and Tracings and thus also the quality of his Internet Tracking and Tracings. The AWB Status Tracking automatically supplies the necessary status of 50 additional airlines. A list of these airlines is available at TRAXON Homepage.
