The foundation of Karl Heinz Dietrich International Forwarder occured in the year 1945.

Branch offices were affiliated with the company in Hamburg, Kaiserslautern, Mannheim, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Munich, and in 1990 a branch in Prague was opened. In 1993 Bratislava and in 1994 Bucharest were following.

Today the KHD forwarding company is provided with a network of agents around the world with own consolidatet services in export as well as in import for air- and seafreight and offers thereby a full service worldwide.
