Gabriel Birkart started off with a horse and a cart to establish his forwarding company in Aschaffenburg in 1877 - today it’s one of the biggest in the entire branch.

As the years went by, the horses gave way to the horse power of the first trucks, and the company’s radius of activity gradually spread out to cross the existing frontiers. Foresighted thinking and a pioneering spirit have always ensured that BIRKART GLOBISTICS International GmbH has carried on crossing frontiers.
