Founded 1980 in Munich with 50/50 shareholding Barth + Co. Munich and alpha trans GmbH Frankfurt. Barth + Co was founded 1959 as an international forwarding company mainly in the European textile industry.

alpha trans GmbH Frankfurt was founded 1973 as an international air freight forwarder. Since 2003 alpha trans GmbH Frankfurt is 100 % owned by alpha trans GmbH & Co. KG Munich. Meanwhile alpha trans has 5 stations in Germany: Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Munich.

alpha trans is a member of the U-Freight Group with more than 120 stations worldwide. Our services are worldwide freight forwarding by sea and air (IATA Agent).
